Two-Time Candidate Enters Presidential Race

Another person, somewhat unforeseen, has now entered the GOP race for the Presidential nomination in the 2012 elections. Ron Paul, who has tried twice before to get the nom, in 1988 and 2008, is now trying a third time. He is certainly a dark horse entry for this campaign, although he does have his supporters. I’m just not one of them. Plus, he typifies the single worst aspect of the GOP that needs to change in Presidential candidates: At 75, He’s an Old White Man running for the office. Not something needed when we’re going against Obama, although I think we do need his ability in raising money so that we have a chance of stopping Obama in 2012.

You can read an article about this over at National Journal.

The official GOP field now stands at 2.
